New Artwork: What's Your Hairstyle?

Here's a work in progress from beginning to end of a piece I call, "What's Your Hairstyle?" It's for a hairdresser friend of mine, of course, but more importantly, it's my first real attempt at teaching myself to color in Photoshop. Sure I've done it before, but not with the intent of doing anything impressive. During my latest trip to Comic Con, I was privileged to talk to comic book colorists John Higgins (Watchmen) and Sally Hurst. I found them to be lovely people and equally inspiring. They made me want to learn to be a colorist, in short. I know I've got a long to go, but I'm quite pleased with my first attempt.

If you're interested in owning a print of this work there are two places you can go to. Just click either of the images below for two completely different options. DeviantART will offer you fun items, like puzzles, coffee mugs, and coasters, whilst Fine Art America will offer you many great framing and paper options. Cheers all.
